A professional improvisor since 2006, Jim has appeared with One Act Improv, Motus Theater, On the Spot (Bovine Metropolis Theater), the Interactive Theater Project, Affinity Arts, Plays Well With Others, the Didactic Duo, Hot Mess, CU Playback, and many others. He has also collaborated to create devised pieces including Bedfellows! (a bawdy look at our body politic), A Brief History of Intercourse, Normal Heights, & more.

A veteran performer with Playback Theatre West and founding Artistic Director of CU Playback, he also leads teacher trainings in Improvisational Skills to Enhance Teaching & Empower Learners. Through each, he indulges his passion for promoting creative, constructive collaboration to inspire unity and change.
